Gems Jewellers will be celebrating their 14th birthday as they opened on the 2nd August 1993. Owned and run by David Gauld who, prior to opening Gems, worked in the Jewellery trade for over 20 years, mainly in the Glasgow area. David moved the family to Dumfries and his wife and two sons are very happy with the move.



Second hand and antique jewellery is a big favourite with David's customers and this has the added value of part-exchange. You can take in your old unwanted or even broken jewellery to part exchange for something new or different. Watch batteries and straps are fitted while you wait and Gems offer a full jewellery repair service.
